Goal

Turn a two-bedroom property with an enclosed kitchen and separate lounge into a three-bedroom home with open-plan living connected to the garden.

Approach

• A rear extension creates room for the kitchen and dining area, connected to a living space within the original footprint.
• Rooflights and peninsulas organise the larger living space. The former lounge becomes a third bedroom.
• Julie designed and managed the transformation, including the kitchen, bathroom, en suite and staging.

Outcome

A three-bedroom home with a light, open-plan kitchen, dining and living space towards the garden, and a principal bedroom with an en suite and walk-in wardrobe.
